New place to me is the MUMBAI KITCHEN INDIAN RESTAURANT.
At the moment 50% off the dishes. I went for the mutton Rogan Josh price $11 so $5.50. I also ordered chapati and rice.
It was nice to see the free rice pudding.
Have not been able to eat a curry for sometime now, all have been spicy, making the inflammation in my mouth too much, but I was armed with yogurt to cool the curry.
It was a serious good dish, infact no photo because me and my helper got started to eat, and the dish soon went.

It's an addictive food, I don't do drugs only ones doctor tells me to buy and take. I have also stopped smoking cigarettes for over a month now.
But the meal was good, definitely comfort food, feel good factor for sure.

Chicken Curry

May just go back to the basics with this One, trying and rating the chicken curry dishes from different restaurant's.

Indian cuisine has a large amount of regional variation, with many variations on the basic chicken curry recipe. Indian chicken curry typically starts with whole spices, heated in oil. A sauce is then made with onions, ginger, garlic, and tomatoes, and powdered spices. Bone-in pieces of chicken are then added to the sauce, and simmered until cooked through. In south India, coconut and curry leaves are also common ingredients. Chicken curry is usually garnished with coriander leaves, and served with rice or roti.
In south India, chicken curry may be thickened using coconut milk.

First one tonight from Katmandu Kitchen
13 Long Nget St. (258), Phnom Penh 12204.

Started with vegetable samosa.

The chicken was of large chunks, very fresh, sauce was medium and very tasty.
Over all the meal was good, one point the samosa’s casing is thick.
Give the meal 4 stars **** out of the maximum 5 due to the casing of the samosa’s.
Price overall $5.85

This meal was delivered by food panda just like the one above.

Angkor Indian Restaurant
Only found them on food panda, could be working from another restaurant or home.
Started with chicken samosa due to I have bought before, and good value for 2 at $1.50 also I highly recommend them.

The casing of the samosa's are crispy and light, the filling is very good too.

I must say that the chicken curry is actually a delicious dish, overall the best I have had up to date.

Chicken Curry &2.52
Over all price $4.97 with delivery fee $0.86 and vat $0.09
I would rate the meal on the whole five star*****

Shame the rice is jasmine rice. Just not the same

Also, is that supposed to be mango chutney with the samosa? I am gonna guess a lot of restaurants buy that from the same supplier. like water and not visible mango

Yes you are correct I am trying to keep the price down even if a little. So it's the local rice instead of the normal bissmatti rice.
It's a good mint and also the mango sauce with the samosa's, that are actually very good in this case. I have been to restaurant's and received tomato sauce many times.

My helper's mother is visiting her today, so we have a welcome guest. She doesn't speak English, only Nepaliae, but it's not a problem to me because obviously her daughter can translate.
So lunch time again I ordered a few samosa from Angkor Indian Restaurant and a little aloo sag.

4 chicken samosa $2.50 + 2 veg samosa $1.40
Aloo Sag $1.78.

I haven't been able to cook for a couple of months as the hotel was too busy. So it was a real pleasure to hit the kitchen last night.
