Sousadeyy thanks for the info, I briefly looked into what you have mentioned above, if that is the location shown via Facebook, he is around an hour from me when there is little traffic, but that is no matter nor probmattic.
Have yourself or anyother members had food from this location?
Tonight I had a ride over too the Taj Mahal Restaurant on Street 170.
I was wanting to try their beef Karahi, that was after their very tasty chicken shami kababs.
The kababs don't disappoint, but the although the Karahi dish was okay. It lacks certain qualities in the simple ingredients, such has capsicum peppers (although the Pakistani dish is not unusually without). But even though the menu shows the capsicum, the dish still lacks something, infact it was very much the same taste of the last meal I had from them. You could actually call it with no mistake "ginger beef".
I am not saying it's a bad dish, quite opposite being it's good. But not what it seems.
From there I was on the search for my favorite Indian dessert Rasmalai. A dish with ingredients being of cream, semolina, sugar and paneer.
I found at last at another Indian restaurant that has now new owners since my previous visit.
On the Art street 93. Also open 24 hours.

He happens to not be far from our workplace, so we now have the luxury of binging on fine Pakistani food on a daily lunch time basis. All of us are in agreeance that it is very tasty (bunch of British curry lovers) (plus all the Indian staff order his food too, always a good sign)
It really is good food. It has a nice homemade feel to it. The korma is my favourite, excellent samosas and random Pakistani dishes which he has on special.
Worth a go, maybe one day you will find yourself in that area of town.

Went to New Season Indian restaurant on Riverside today, mainly because it was the only curry house open at 10.00 am. We had Chicken Bhuna, Veg Handi, Mutton Rogan Ghost and rice and bread and Masala tea. I wouldn't say it was the best curry but, it's air conditioned, friendly, clean, free water and poppodums. $18.

New Season Indian restaurant, and a reasonable meal, I have had frequent visits before, many times would be coming or going from the big city.
Food panda has been very problematic this week, and mainly only letting me order locally. Emaan's apparently is closed until Friday according to them, but what they really mean is that its closed for their delivery. I called Emaan's and he was kind to deliver a food order to me at an easy mutual destination. Palak Beef is my usual dish, sometimes when a dish is so good there's no point trying to change, but I have asked and received a Chicken Khema Palak dish on occasions that is not on the menu. That is another thing about a good restaurant, if they are willing to make a dish of your request.

Had a delivery order has usual tonight. I noticed that the Light Room had added a new dish to their menu. Chicken Karahi, and I am very partial to the kind of dish.
Chicken karahi, or kadai chicken, is a dish from the Indian subcontinent noted for its spicy taste; it is notable in North Indian and Pakistani cuisine. The Pakistani version does not have peppers or onions whereas the North Indian version uses both capsicum and onions. The dish is prepared in a cooking pot called a karahi. A traditional Karahi pot is a type of circular pan very similar to a wok.
Chicken Seekh Kabab Wrap
These are good value and very tasty, I have bought them alone in the past and served them up with a plate of chips.
The Nan bread from here is very light and fluffy, it's also of good size.
Only half of the Kabab on the plate, my partner was already tucking in to the other half. The Karahi unfortunately came with bones, and I don't do bones if I can help it, but there's plenty of chicken meat in the dish. Also this place always remember to put in the onions and cucumber along with the yogurt and mint sauce.
Overall the food is of good value.

The other night, about 11.30pm we had a ride up to Erfan Restaurant Street 93. It was a little dark on the approach, and yes the shutter doors were half closed. There seemed to be two of the staff outside, I asked them if the place was closed, one guy went inside and came back with the boss, "you want to eat" I said yes if you are cooking food. The restaurant on Google says open 24 hours, the boss confirmed this to me on my previous visit, but it is closed at 11pm and open 11.30pm for last delivery orders for food panda customers.
I was going on the place being open 24 hours, and with my partner not having the new requirements (vaccine card)(because of the nature of her illness and medication she can't be vaccinated). So the opportunity of a empty establishment seemed not a bad idea to keep some sense of normality for her.
The boss did let us eat there, but if it was inconvenient I would have made a takeaway order.
Also if you do actually go at anytime, have in your mind what you would like to eat before hand, because the new owners have no menu, all good fun, to be expected in a country not of your own. The Bangladesh owner speaks good English, and accommodated us with the food I asked him for.
Poppadom, always good when waiting for your other dishes.
Chapattis we're excellent and large, best I have had in Phnom Penh.

I fancied food from Emaan's last night, so I took a look at food panda, but it said there that the restaurant was closed until Thursday. I messaged the owner direct to ask if there was any truth in this close down. No, was the reply, and I have stopped doing business with food panda, but are now having food delivers via Nham24. This service I have used in the past, but then they decided not too carry on with their services too me.
Again I fancied a bit of a ride last night although it was raining just a little bit.
Starter, of Chicken Shami. I added a few chips.
Main, Beef Palak.
Accompanied with two Roti and Plain Rice, price $15

This has got my tastebuds twitching. I shall have to go and check them out.
Also, I think if you go with your family, you would probably go in daylight hours. In the past you would be aware that I maybe in the area at what we could call silly hours 2 -3am, nice and quite to view the plentiful street art, again some of the painting work will run off the main street into the small alleyways. But in the recent few visits I have become uneasy with the situation, it was always what you could consider that of "a little dodgy". But now has darkness falls their is certainly a few undesirables, meth smoking in those unlit areas.
