Hmmm, Goa, that's a place I need to visit.

I have visited Goa twice in 92 and 93 both times has an independent traveller with no plans, apart from climbing in the norths lower Himalaya. both time having lots of journey time, but, Goa I hit both times in the rainy season, but still the food was very good, pork and potato vindaloo being my favoured dish. But then again I had, and still remember the special dishes from many locations around India, they are the masters of gravy, that what we call curry.

Another dish I had tried to replicate is one of my favourites, that I had in Jaisalmer Rajasthan. Potato and Pomegranate, but the fruit is not too good here,

yes, it's a good package, and the samosas are good for a $. Definitely one of those things to buy in, not make.

Chips and curry sauce are ok. Many a Friday night was finished off with a bag of chips and curry sauce from the Chinky. But I was about 18 and was very uncouth in my youth. Still am, some would say.

Was we not all very uncouth at the age of 18. Do you remember the frozen blocks of Chinese curry in the supermarkets in the 80s.[media]


Also the first Indian in my town was a take away only, they took over the vets and served you though a hatch. My friend said "Andy you got to come try this". Shami Kababs and Pakistani meat Karahi with chapatti, we dinned in the local park opposite, I was hooked from that first time, but never found the same taste has those slightly burnt Kababs.
One last dish I make, Kofta I really like.

There are a lot of restaurants in that street, are we talking of Kabbas Restaurant and what type of curry? I like Amazing Happy Pizza Pub Restaurant on that street

Not sure of the name I'm not in Cambodia to go see but it's an Indian restaurant/guests house next to Sinans on your right facing the restaurant.the one on the left I've never seen anyone in there.

Is it the Punjabi Kitchen Indian Restaurant & Dormitory? If so it's one I have not been too, and will have to pay a visit. Last night I called at IDLI DOSA Indian Restaurant once again, wanting to try other items on the menu. I had chicken samosa sat in the cool air outside and a can of Angkor.





They was not two bad. I ordered chicken masala, lemon rice and 2 chapattis to take away. I ate some but most ended up in the bin. Too be honest Phnom Penh is so hit or miss.
