Try this:

1 cucumber
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp dill
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp sunflower oil
1 tsp vinegar
2 garlic cloves
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp lemon juice

Chill thoroughly. Heaven.

Dill is good (very good)....one table spoon, as you have said. Sour Cream for a thinly sliced up cucumber ? NO ! No freakin' way, and sugar is also a big no no.

I think caraway is better in your recipe than cumin.
