Steak

Post by Lost50 »

Apologies if its been covered before but I'm looking for a memorable steak. A proper thick cut juicy steak ideally with a baked potato.

Recommendations please. Happy to pay upto $25

Cheers all.

If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!

Stonegrill (although, one small baby potato cut in half) steak is very good and in your 'budget'

New York Steak House, more expensive and your 'budget' but you can have a baked potato.

At that price point, you'll find very good steaks at Mara. They have a special (discount) night on Tuesdays. You need to book.

Upping the price a bit, and Armand's enters the picture. They are more in the traditional line of French restaurant, decor etc, decent prices, big portions.

Similar in pricing and perhaps a bit more creative with some dishes, Le Deli Bistro, a strong selection of steaks which they know how to cook. You can spend a lot (they also have caviar, black truffles etc), but you can certainly spend around what you are aiming for, easy.

For all round 5 star dining experience, Cuts delivers (top of Rosewood hotel) a special evening at the top end of pricing.
Me, not that other crap.

I was going to mention Stonegrill. I haven't been there in a coons age but it was great last I dined.

Buy a wife. Steaks exactly how you like it, whenever. $2.50 a throw. $22.50 change for buying her a new dress and beer, sex after is likely!
