A vegan paradise sounds like hell. And in case anyone thinks I'm just spouting -I was actually a vegetarian for about 10 years and a vegan for a couple. It's easy to get vegan/ vegetarian food in places like the Middle East or the Indian subcontinent, but it was a serious pain in the ass in most of mainland Europe in the 90s - and here it would be too unless you restrict yourself to eating in Daun Penh/ BKK1,2,3 or at home. Outside there you're just going to have to starve or eat plain rice with pickles or fruit or some other insubstantial crap.

Is it true that vegetarians don’t need a woman as often as meat-eaters?

I don't remember that ever being the case. Rabbits are brought to mind.
