Phnom Penh Night Owl Grub

Post by FreeSocrates! »

I'm a Night Owl, and routinely don't eat dinner until between 12 and 2 am. I realize my options are limited; but here goes the places I know that are open until at least 2 am:

- Mekong River House (sub-par)
- Katty Perry's Pizza (better when your drunk)
- Paddy Rice (haven't been too many times, not sure if they sever food 24 hours)
- Eden's @ Mango (pretty good, depends on the dish)
- Martini Bar (Chez Dim - surprisingly they have a few good dishes and I live close so it's an easy one)

Obviously Phnom Penh isn't full of options this late at night at this aren't really what I'd consider amazing places, but was wondering if anyone has anything to add to this list?
The cedar roasted asparagus has good chew. I don't know how to enjoy it, so I'll Instagram it instead.

Had a really good Thai chicken curry at WA not too long ago and I wasn't pissed.

Sometimes it's not a bad option for late grub.

La Patate - on the little street that goes between Garage and Empire - great night time food, great selection of belgium beer. Not sure what time they are opened till - but we go there for late night dinners usually

Plenty of options on 51
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes

Am yet to walk the 'street of peculiar interests' but noticed some very dressed up young ladies next door to Empire after the GoT marathon. They had big smiles for me (I'm a very hansum man) but very quickly lost interest when Mrs Stroppy joined me on the sidewalk. Might drop into Garage as a couple before the next GoT event, see if I get a similar Jekyll/Hyde response.

Been there once only, for a hamburger, it was bad, never again, the beefpatty fell apart, the taste wasn't anything you'd expect in a burger. But maybe the cook had a bad day, who knows. Didn't try the beers though, beers from Belgium: you can wake me up anytime for one of those.
