Has anybody actually ever eaten at Walkabout? I'm quite curious to the level of quality of the food. I haven't been brave enough to try, but was thinking of making it my regular breakfast place.

I hear it's quite good. I've even heard of a couple going there for Valentine's Day.

Every day is Valentine's Day at Walkabout. But in all seriousness, has anyone actually ever eaten there? I'm genuinely curious about this for no good reason.

I had the sweet and sour chicken there on several occasions and was never disappointed. That was a few years ago, but nothing seems to have changed and I would go again

Seems like I will have to try WA's food sometime.
The cedar roasted asparagus has good chew. I don't know how to enjoy it, so I'll Instagram it instead.

One of my regular breakfast spots, sometimes I will order the same thing every day for a week (an omelet with americano and toast) and it will be different every single time.

The omelet will be big, then it will be small, it will come with butter or not, sometimes some fruit....
This annoys me so much.

You go to a restaurant have a great dish and then next time you go you order the same thing because it was so good last time and it's not the same has what you had before.

Consistency is so important for restaurants IMO.

I eat at the Pickled Parrot a lot and I can order something there now and it's exactly the same as I had on my first visit.
Thad why I stopped going to Titanic.

Damn, over on the 'thinking mans' site there's an old pic of you at WA smooching some chick, but I can't be arsed to dig it up.

Well I guess by smooch, I mean innocent peck on the cheek. O:-)
