Paying my dues! Best places for a Tomahawk in PP

Post by sousadeyy »

So I lost a bet. One regarding the recent political shenanigans going on in the world. (Just providing some context, that isnt the point of the thread). The penalty for losing this bet is that I have to buy the winner a Tomahawk steak.

So, I reach out to the wise and noble community of PP for any ideas where I can get hold of such a steak.

I know Cuts in Vattanac Tower serves them, and I know New York Steak house does. Does anyone else know of any other establishments that do, and any reviews would be great.

Thanks peeps!

Stonegrill have it @ $95 kg, Digby’s may stock it also. I’d message a few of the butchers also, see if they have any

Pity, had hoped this would be about getting the kind of haircut known in my former home town as an "Iro" (= Iroquois).

You might get away a lot cheaper by going to La Ferme du Bassac on 178.

They have a very nice deli counter and sell great steaks, which they will cook for you in their restaurant for a small premium, about $5 or $10 I think. You then buy your sides. You will get away with a lot less than $70 an head.

A tomahawk steak is just ribeye on the bone, just extra length for presentation purposes, so $40 a kilo for the good stuff. They will probably get them in for you if you pre order.

Don't forget to post photos of what you ended up buying and the bill :beer3:
