Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. My partner likes Nyam, I only thought it was okay. Independence Hotel for lunch down on on the beach is expensive but nice, dinner is expensive and very ordinary. Golden Lion II is the best Khmer spot for me, love the food there. I didn't like Sandan, M'lop Tapang do an awesome job though. I like the ribs at The Small Hotel and a great day to take them to Independence Beach, swim and laze away on the lounger and order food from The Small Bar.

Victory Beach Hotel is pretty good.

If you want some pretty good Khmer food try Green Cabbage downtown... good food (we generally do the BBQ + some extras) and reasonable prices with attentive staff (for a Khmer place). Also nice that it's well off the beaten path so has nearly zero tourists. Almost exclusively Khmer and expat crowd.

Where is this?

Or do you mean the Cabbage Garden? A good Khmer rest along with Golden Lion 2 when the music ain't too loud.

Yeah, that's the one... I always screw up the name. Back down that side street near where they build the tuktuks.
