NHAM 24 gems

Post by sousadeyy »

I found myself scrolling through Nham24 looking for something new. A lot of the places I just didn't choose because, I didn't know the place or want to '' risk it for a biscuit '' and end up disappointed. But, and I have no doubt, there are many hidden gems out there to order from.

I'd be interested in any suggestions that citizens of ceo could recommend. Show me the gems. I'll get the ball rolling by providing my two gemstones.

Bay tea Kvai Heng Long

Only serves breakfast upto 12.
Take your normal khmer pork and rice, and you end up with little morsels. For 2$ or $2.5 you get succulent belly pork and rice, or tender duck and rice. Really good succulent meat and the rice is cooked in a nice broth to give it a nice flavour/texture. Great cheap breakfast option.

Pho Start Chas

Menu is in khmer but look for the picture of the dark soup with the bread next to it.

Beautiful Vietnamese beef broth soup. The beef has been slow cooked for hours, plenty of it, the broth is fragrant and flavourful, bread mops it up beautifully. For 3.5$ it will keep you going for half a day.

What other gems are out there. All cuisines welcome!!

Brown do a steak and cheese panini with fries that is really good value, and a proper tasty snack.

Backyard cafe do various bowls of straight up nutrients, for when you need to fix yourself. That's more of a public service announcement than a gem.

**edited to add wine o clock's filled baguettes are outstanding, with quality ingredients but a bit pricey.
