MM's sounds great, but I wonder if it will end up like a movie that everyone says you'll like. And you DON'T.

I think you have to keep in mind that MM's isn't a dedicated restaurant. It is a bar primarily, also a guesthouse that serves bloody good and great value food. If you want a perfectly cooked ( to your specification) 500 g T-bone or sirloin, you should probably go to a dedicated steakhouse (not that there is a decent one in S/ville) and be prepared to pay 4 or 5 times the price. I sometimes find steak snobs to be a bit tedious, like wine or coffee snobs.
LSH is a wholesalers in PP btw. Lee's are better imo, but carry a lot less. They do have a S/ville branch though.

Stop posting reviews about our most secret places... SHV is just a den of whore mongers, knives stabbing crazies and meth heads, remember ?
My brother in law from USA, told me a few weeks ago he paid three times the price for twice less serving and quality in a SR steak house :stir:

No you don't. Listen to BDS FFS, Sihanoukville is a zoo, you probably won't make it out alive!

Never heard anything except real positive comments about the steaks at the Missing Monkey.

A bloody rare event in a place like SHV.

It's not only a "bloody rare event", it's a bloody rare steak.

I just ran into Mark in a downtown store. He says he is rebuilding his kitchen and putting in some Japanese things on the menu including Kobe beef. He said he will be keeping his signature giant steak meal on the menu.

As much as I like the place, most kobe beef ain't real kobe beef. The real mac coy is just too expensive.
