Korean BBQ Chicken Restaurant

Post by picooie »

The restaurant is on the corner of 162 and 51 at the opposite end of GSM than Pontoon.

I ate here the other day and was very surprised. The place was immaculate. The prices are excellent and the quality of food is exceptional. On the first try we went for lunch. There was two of us. We ordered the Beef Noodle soup, The Bimbap bowl, A chicken skewer, Spicy ramen soup, a water and a coke. The bill was $10.40 for everything. Everything was cooked to perfection. The next day we had Chicken salad, Bimbap bowl, Grilled chicken plate, water and a coke. The bill came out to the same. The dressing on the chicken salad was sort of an apple vinaigrette was fantastic. The menu is not large but very good. Whoever made the restaurant put some good money into it and has an excellent product and super clean. The value and quality for what you get is hard to beat. This place deserves a try for just about anyone you will not be disappointed if you try it. No I am not affiliated with this place I was just very impressed by it and want it supported.

The curry is a Japanese style curry not Indian curry. I am happy you liked it.

Thanks for the reviews! Is this across from Shanghai, where a bakery/coffee shop used to be? I try to stay clear of that whole (hole) area, but I think I'll try this place!
I am sooooo very sorry if you can't understand or appreciate my sarcastic facetiousness.

Japanese curry is a national icon. It was adopted from the British Navy more than a century ago! So if it seems British- it is!

I am making a note of it! Great review and share. Always happy to read great food reviews! Phnom Penh needs more little places like this.

I am going to be writing up a review with pictures ( menu+ my food order) for the new location of Buffalo Sisters (sandwich shop) over in Toul Tom Pong. Stay tunned.

(I meant to write it today but before I remembered to take pictures, I had half of my roast beef sammy in my belly)

Edit- Taranis says corner of 154 and 51 and OP says 162 and 51. Can we confirm? I think I am leaning toward Taranis saying 154 n 51 streets.
I'll give ya 500 Riel for it...

Perhaps this could be the location for our next CEO get-together... we can eat pork products and drink beer as we remember absent friends.
