A $15 set menu that guarantees satisfaction. GT2/Srey Kumneth

Located on Street 278 BKK1, Casablanca is an authentic Moroccan restaurant and appears to be a favourite among the city’s expats and local community.

Waitresses welcoming us with wide smiles also went to show they cared more than just to fill our bellies but were aware hospitality added more to the dining experience.

Traditional dishes such as tagines and couscous are available on the menu with similar vegetarian options as well, but the set menu is bound to attract attention.

Casablanca serves five assortments of typical Morrocan mezze embellished by multi-coloured vegetables including fried potatoes with red onion that is flavoured with cumin and preserved lemon, eggplant caviar, carrot and cucumber salad with shallots, seasoned with parsley and lemon pickles and grilled red pepper.

Costing only $15 per person, the menu included the soup of the day, a selection of Morrocan mezze, dessert, and Moroccan mint tea, or aperitif, wine, beer or non-alcoholic drinks making it a more desirable option.
