Food deliveries - not working?

Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. Found a favorite cafe or have a place we should avoid? Tell us about it. Asian recipes & questions are always welcome.

Pretty certain a minister got upset that the police were stopping delivery guys with empty bikes (returning!) because they weren't carrying food .. it was a tough mental leap for the boys in blue, but I think it is now full flow as far as food delivery goes. Perhaps there are other issues such as restaurants struggling to get staff to kitchens, availability of raw ingredients, etc. a more pressing problem.
Basic fresh ingredients are likely to run out generally by Saturday. Many kitchens have already closed because they refuse to pay inflated prices and cook at a loss. Others close because of fears of paying fees for permits to pass checkpoints, etc.
The realization that most staff won't be paid at month end will have full panic setting in around midweek next week.

It seems that the delivery services in PP like Panda and Nham24 and others probably, too, work with some geo locators. This means the customer can only order from restaurants in his own lockdown area. He tried to get something from olive olive near the night market on riverside to be delivered in BKK2. The app told him that he could not. I am not a tech guru and use old fashioned phone lines and emails. So I can get deliveries as the restaurant's own delivery seems to work.

Does anyone have an idea to beat the system or app?
That's not exactly correct, the app of food panda does show the food in your area, and it has always worked on a distance from your location. But if the app shows around only your area, it's because the other area's that you may have ordered from in the past are very busy in the area around themselves. If you have favorite restaurants for example, and have previous orders with them, re-order, even if they don't show in the main available menu. You will get your order from them has normal.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

The MoC's online food shop is live. There are six items on offer - the same basic necessities being offered to people in "red" zones. There are phone numbers to order these items.

If they included a slab of beer to wash the shitty taste away maybe for a week but I'd feel pretty sick at the end of it
