Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. I (we) would like to find the guy who invented the padded bra. Remember the part in the movie Animal House where the guy was taking the girls bra off and got a handful of tissue paper?

Yes, some Americans love spam. American Eskimos and Hawaiians. (I can't understand why the Eskimos like it as seal and walrus meat is really good not to mention the best meat ever is from the Moose.)

My father served in WWII and refused to have spam in the house.

I like bully beef (tinned corned beef), but never been a huge fan of spam...although I did often take it in the field on exercise whilst in the army to add to the ration pack food.

I've frequently seen what looked like pig skin being sold as buffalo.

Yucky fat skin all around.

Jaun: Thanks! My Dad flew the Pan Am "China Clippers"all over the South Pacific during WWII, and at the end of his career volunteered to fly 74 times (round trips) flying solders to/from Vietnam. The president of Indonesia would ask for him by name when he charted a Pan Am 707 to take him around. He started in biplanes and ended in 707 jets. I got to meet some very interesting people. His buddy was the pilot who flew the Beatles to America the first time. When I was in the Coast Guard our seaman's manual had pictures of a Pan Am "Stratocruiser" ditching in the Pacific in the '50s. Years before I was in the Guard,('66-'72), the Capt. of that plane was in our front room talking about it. Incredible landing, and no one died. I think its on Youtube. (BTW/ I spent a year on the sister-cutter to the one in the rescue. (CGC- Winona)

No, it's where it goes. Something to do with the hormone content. Be warned!
Even though for some of you it is already too late. :stir:
