Del Mar Pastry & Coffee - Sihanoukville
Re: Del Mar Pastry & Coffee - Sihanoukville
Right next to the Excellence in English School (or Service). Glad they moved, the other place was too small, and I never liked the setup in the King Gold Hotel. And the prices are reasonable, unlike Awaken Cafe.

Yea, this Vietnam bakery makes a nice range of pies like the one shown, mushroom and beef and a curry chicken all at $4.50. And they are a decent size. , The catch is that's in Australia and so Australian dollars = USA $3.50. Why can they not produce them for that price here ? Cheaper wages, cheaper rents, no taxes ????

Re: Del Mar Pastry & Coffee - Sihanoukville
to be fair i usually go to Snookys bar in SHV and get a Kampot Pepper Steak pie, Chips, Veggies and Gravy all for $4.50 which i dont thinks a bad deal, although i think the best pie i used to have here in Cambodia used to be the Steak & Guiness Pie at the Cavern Pub on 104 in PPDuncan wrote:Jamie_Lambo wrote:dang where you get dat pie!Duncan wrote:Yea, we don't raise our standards higher than the humble meat pie.Popeye wrote:Real Men don't eat quiche !Jamie_Lambo wrote:will have to go for coffee when im back

I like the French/Cambodian one up on the main street around the corner from Samadea's.(they just moved there.) I believe I used the place mentioned here when my WiFi was down a while back. It was ok. Yes, it was clean.
