Re: Cooked Breakfast
I just looked up what is black pudding , if I ever saw it on some breakfast I was ordering I would definitely say
“ hold the black pudding “ , sounds terrible .

I turned up at the above place, and had the similar experience has Gazzy, being that my partner wouldn't get off the motorcycle, it's like a sixth sense having a Khmer girl friend.

I wonder if they even realize they're losing potential business.

Re: Cooked Breakfast
I would never order a cooked breakfast by delivery. Ain't right man. Going to try the breakfast and other dishes at The Front on 118. Hearing good things.
Re: Cooked Breakfast
About the english black pudding: the french call it boudin noir, what, i think, is exactly the same, or not ?? If so, i would be 100% sure, the french place "la ferme du bassac" on 178 has some marvellous boudin noir. if your estomac doesnt turn upside-down thinking you eat english black pudding from a french restaurant, i would give it a try !! Me, being belgian, i would feel bad also to eat belgian fries from a dutch chips-shop !! ??
Re: Cooked Breakfast
They do say the texture of boudin nor is different from black pudding, but if needs are like they are, too complete a full English breakfast, I would like to try the French blood sausage.Bongmab69 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 9:22 pm About the english black pudding: the french call it boudin noir, what, i think, is exactly the same, or not ?? Belgium Chips, now you're talking! Is the Chip van still in the square in Bruges?
I used to travel to see my Aunt and cousins over past years.

Re: Cooked Breakfast
This thread is like an English culinary meme.
English people: "God, no one can do a proper fry-up. The sausages aren't right, there's always something missing. Life is hard".
Also English people: *orders eggs benedict and breakfast via Food Panda without blinking an eye. Uses the most basic cardboard bread for the traditional fry up*
