There's a thread from last year about restaurants in Sihanoukville. You can find it here: post595684.html

Here's few that have western food:

Pepe Artisan Food
Toto' Pizza
Papa Pippo
Romdoul's Place
Sandan
Xihu Hotel
Yasmine
Titanic
Khin's Shack
Sunset Lounge

Few new ones that have open since that thread or haven't been mentioned in that are Fat Goose, Pepe Steakhouse @ Queenco (sister restaurant of the Pepe Artisan Food but this new one is on the beach), Level22, Le Barang Steakhouse, Danube and Sokha Resort has tapas style beach restaurant. All of these can be easily located via Google Maps.

Best burger in town? Probably it's at Pepe. I believe both of the Pepe's restaurants have burgers on the menu. If you want bit cheaper then Mike's Burger House or Food Factory. Mike's has pretty good burgers, and I have heard good about Food Factory but never personally eaten there. And of course you have Burger King at Furi Mall if you want that style burger.

I ate last night at queenco and ordered from pepes steakhouse and my burger came practically raw inside , threw it out after a couple bites and went home with a pizza

Was the reason for my post today actually, left thoroughly disappointed 😞

*Might have been the "American style medium done burger" but it was more on the rare side for my liking

Shoulda took a doggie bag , some dog woulda ate it !
I always ask for everything here to be well done .
But what you said reminds me of “ mikes” slogan ,
“ 2 bites , no like , no pay “
If it was really disgusting you would never take bite #2 , ay ?
So he gotcha.
There was a mikes there when I was there and i went often because I knew it was better than other places
and I liked mike , but after awhile I got “ burnt out “ so I would go back but i couldn’t recommend mikes
You would have to decide by your self . They used to be at the roundabout but shirley not anymore .
Burger King suits me so I could alternate , there wasn’t one when I was there
now that I learned to make rice , I make my own .Japanese style burgers , with cheese 🧀
( & with rice , not bread - tonight I mixed corn with the rice
none of the so called “ gourmet “ hamburgers around here can be picked up and eaten like a hamburger should ,
like a whopper , it’s full of stuff but you can still pick it up and eat it .
The others have too much bread and the stuffing always fall out if you pick it up .
Is that europeein style or what ?

Oh wow, even that bun doesn't look that nice in your burger. I have had burger only at their other branch and it's been great. Not sure which burger I had but it definitely looked more appealing than what you've received. Perhaps you might consider visiting the other branch? The owner is often present there, and you could share your feedback about this experience with him.

Even more egregious than the shitty burger is the beer you chose to go with it!

It looks like they have had a go at baking their own buns and it failed to rise properly before baking, but they went ahead and baked it anyway. The burger patty doesn't even come close to the edges. That's a seriously duff burger. It does make me laugh that some of these restaurants pretend that a burger is some kind of haute cuisine and charge according, yet still completely cock it up.

A burger is just a hot round sandwich and about as technically challenging as a cheese and ham toastie. You wouldn't pay $10 for one of those, would you?

By the way, you should stay away from any burger cooked 'medium' unless you are 100% sure that the meat is 100% ground steak(e.g. rump or chuck), and not commercially bought mince. That's how you get e-coli.

Sage advice. And everyone should make sure their Typhoid jab is up to date - it only lasts 3 years. $19 at Pasteur.
