Oops, my bad, maybe the $5 before 2p.m. is outdated. I just re-read the thread (rrtt) and that was from Jan of ‘18’. Maybe that is why she did not understand the crazy barang!

bvanfossen wrote: Tue Aug 21, 2018 3:52 pm Dude the free drink offer was for the "new business ", a promotion back in January. I'm shocked that you believe the offer still stands

I would normally agree with that, but it does seem the owner has specifically stated that it's a valid offer until he specifically mentions otherwise. Oh well, after such a great review, I'm sure the owner will invite him back with the lure of a free drink either way.

Yes, thx Bvan and G’Mac for clearing that up, as that was how I read it (until cancelled) and as for me, I am new business (555) as this was my first order! (Oh, you meant that they are a new business!) jk, don’t go blowin a circuit on me! I don’t really care about the “free” drink or the .75 off before 2 offers, but hey, if they are offering it, you shouldn't have to ask or beg for it. It’s just good business is all I’m sayin, to honor your promo’s. Thx all concerned! Cheers!!

Glad you liked the food, but sorry for the confusion. My wife took your order when she was out and did not have good cellphone reception, I'm guessing, because I have had trouble getting a good connection with her today, as well. We have not had anyone request the CEO special in several months, so she probably had no idea what you were talking about. Had she been at home, she would have asked me if I understood what you were requesting, and I would have said, "Darn it, I posted on Facebook that the specials were over but may not have done so on CEO." So it was my bad and you should have gotten the free drink. In fact, since it is low season and business is really slow, I'll state right now that the free drink offer is still/once again open. Let us know you were the person affected when you come in next time, or send me a message on Facebook before you order, and we'll make sure you get the missing free drink, as well--or larger portions or something if you don't want 2 drinks. Congratulations on the new daughter!

The lunch time promotion IS over, as we no longer have all main courses at the same price.
Great food for dine-in, delivery, or take-away. Call 085 540 525.

My wife just got home and confirmed that it was as i thought. She did tell her sister to make the salad extra large since she knew she might be shorting you in some way, but just had no idea what the specials were. Now that I think about it, I don't think the afternoon special was ever valid for delivery, but the free drink is. Once again, sorry about that.

One caveat on the free drink special: It must be purchased directly from us. Nham24 and YourPhnomPenh take 15% plus the delivery fee, so we can't afford to offer any discounts through them. Nham24 also insists on supplying all drinks themselves. Also, when I said the lunchtime promotion was over, I was referring to the "any entree for $5 between 2PM and 5PM" offer.

Alamo Cafe will be open 11AM-8PM tomorrow and every day of the Pchum Benh holiday, so come by and enjoy all your favorite foods, including smoked pork ribs, mac and cheese, burgers, and jalapeno poppers. The only thing that we may not have available ifs delivery--only the family will be working, so we probably won't have a driver available.
