Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. hahahahaha, Let make a conspiracy with me. First we explain them how the game works and encourage them to join and after we finish collecting their money. We run away and share the money. I guess those who have khmer wife or girlfriend might heard of it.

I am feeling like we are tuning CEO to be a completely khmer forum by discussing such topic. :ROFL2: :D

It's a long thing to explain you. Samouth and I might need a few glasses of beer :-)
Wait if other posters or your wife know it. :-)

Sure my wife plays, and people at work play, but I'm confused as to whether it is a game, or a sort of saving system, or a gambling scheme.

It is a conspiracy and we ain't tell them we are cheating them. Believe me most barangs don't invest their money in something they don't understand.

Hey UT, This game works like this

For example you have 100 people and you have one person as a leader, so 100 members and 1 leader. Let say your share equates 2.5 dollar which you have to pay daily. However, before you start saving your share, your leader will collect 2.5 dollar for you as a fee of playing, but she or he will be the one who is responsible if something happens.

Now you have 100 members, if anyone want to collect money first, she or he will have to lose some money from interest for everyone. In order to know who will get the money first, those who want to collect money earlier than everyone else will be asked to write their amount of interest in a piece of paper and give it to the leader. If someone's interest is higher, that person will collect the money first.

For example the interest is .25 cent dollar, so the 99 members will only pay 2.25 dollar to the leader and the leader will collect the money and do the calculation and give it to that person. That person will receive 99 X 2.25= 222.75 dollar which is supposed to be 99 x 2.5=247.5, but he loses 24.75 dollars as interest for everyone. So, now everyone has one share each which is worth 2.5 dollar, but they only paid 2.25 dollar as they received 0.25 interest from the person who collected money first. After that, the person who have collected the money known as dead member, will pay 2.5 dollars back everyday to the leader until everyone receive their money which he or she needs to pay back for 99 days. The process repeats.

Note, the value of interest varies depending on the urgency of needing money of the member.

I think the explanation is not really good but i hope at least it gives you some clues.

I've heard of a Ting Tong, but not this. Sounds very Ponzi Schemish.
