Do you keep a drinking schedule?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Do you keep a drinking schedule?

Post by FreeSocrates! »

As I get older I feel I'm headed in this direction. I can't just drink willy, nilly like I used too.

And I also like long time frames of abstinence.

Plus I'm a classic binge drinker. I consume alot in very short periods, which I believe is more painful the next day. I think I might move to a 12 days off 2 days on type thing.

I have friends that do like friday, saturday, sunday type thing.

Anyone on here keep a drinking schedule?

To me it makes sense if you view your drinking as a hobby. Other hobbies are often just kept to certain days.
The cedar roasted asparagus has good chew. I don't know how to enjoy it, so I'll Instagram it instead.

I do a lot of travelling. When I am overseas, I drink. I make a limit for myself of 12 a night. That's the max. When I am back in the fatherland, I almost do not drink at all. Plus I believe that studies show that your internal organs will recuperate if you stop drinking periodically.

True, a 5 minute break between beers helps.

Wimps all. What is there to life but to drink? And every night as well...

Cheaply...

Real men drink 15-20 beers or 2 bottles of wine or 10 spirits drinks...

Jeez..get real...why are you here after all?

Desperately seeking cirrhosis, I guess.

Ha! We all know by now that you're "drinking for Jesus"...trying to save the lost sods on the bar stools...cozying up to these poor souls when their the most vulnerable...shame that...

but they're the flotsam anyway - you and your Jesus can have 'em...
