This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Yorkshire lad

Post by English mak »

Hi all

I'm heading to the Kingdom first week in July for travel and whatever else cambodia has to offer for me...
I'm from the uk ( Yorkshire) born n bread !!
Any other Yorkshire men out in Phnom Penh??

I'm after some basic arrival tips I'm flying into Phnom Penh
Airport and going to be stopping in Phnom Penh to start with.
Recommendations of places to stay that are guest friendly would be helpful and any wonderful tips you lot have out there would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Mak

guest friendly hotels and guesthouses are a dime a dozen and you wont need a booking.

easy to meet good people in PP but be warned its equally easy to meet complete nutcases .

They hope someone is going to say they support Richard III. They never got over their defeat at the battle of Bosworth in 1485.

naa not really mate, unless you dont mind paying extortionate prices
tbh i just checked out Prokouts website again, and their prices arent all that bad tbh actually, when you compare it to decent fitness gyms in country
http://www.prokout.com/
i think i never paid too much attention as i usually live in SHV, but think ill be living in PP when i return so will look back into it, i remember when it first opened a few years ago

ive just got back to Thailand today to do some training... how long that lasts will be questionable...
