I know a few of you PP posters will be coming down over the Xmas/NY period. This is a GREAT deal and an AWESOME way to spend a day. The day trip is from 9am - 4pm and all food is included (pics below show you just some of what you get!) The evening cocktail cruise is from 5pm - 7pm and 1 free cocktail is included in the price.( Disclosure - Violet and GM, I work on this boat as chef.Question my motives all you like, but it truly is a great day out!)

That really looks like fun, and a decent deal too!
Chef? I believe the proper term on a sailboat is "galley wench."

Allegedly Captain Pugwash. But I think it turned out to be a myth.djones wrote:Spike Milligan? or maybe The Goon ShowSecret Squirrel wrote:Seaman Stains

Re: Xcat Xmas special
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_PugwashThere is a persistent urban legend, repeated by the now defunct UK newspaper the Sunday Correspondent, that ascribes sexually suggestive names – such as Master Bates, Seaman Staines, and Roger (meaning "have sex with") the Cabin Boy – to Captain Pugwash's characters, and indicating that the captain's name was a slang Australian term for oral sex.[2] John Ryan successfully sued both the Sunday Correspondent and The Guardian newspapers in 1991 for printing this legend as fact.[3] The origin of this myth is likely due to student rag mags from the 1970s.[4]
