Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. No matter which you take (and this goes for basically any medicine you take in tablet form), put it under your tongue and keep it there if you want faster results.
unless its water soluble

for headaches Paracetamol 500 mgs
for Pain Tramadol 100 mg ( expensive in PP $.50 each ) :-)

I draw the line when it comes to pain killers, Phuket. That stuff is dangerous and addictive and can kill you. Just look at all the Americans who are dying from taking them. Heath Ledger (Australian and not American, but anyway...) and Prince are 2 prominent people who come to mind but of course there are many, many others.

That's apples and oranges. Taking morphine at a hospital to ease pain is totally unlike getting hooked on a pain killer because of a backache or something like that, IMO. For terminally patients here in Thailand, morphine is almost always used in the final stages and that's not a bad thing as I sure as hell would want it when I'm about to go.

Diazepam is whack, especially at 10mg. I bought some for the flight back but was a bit cautious with the dosage. I can't sleep on aeroplanes. No different to the antihistamines I found. Took a tramadol as well this time, at least my spine didn't hurt much and I found Lego Batman amusing. Had about 45 minutes kip. Can you get you nitrazapam (Mogadon) or tamazepam here? Opiates suck, I prefer hallucinogens. Have you tried therapy? As a lame suggestion. Generally anxiety has roots in traumatic incidents in your past. My mate had phimosis so he spent a load of his childhood with people poking around his pecker such that he can't piss in a urinal, has to use a booth for ages, fucked him up good and proper, can't sleep normally or get his cock out in a normal relationship and shit. He's been single as long as I've known him

I have tried many pharmacies including De La Gare and Chan Penh Vong on Sihanouk that people recommend but no-one sells Temazepam. I don't know whether it's available on prescription but I'm thinking not.

If you get addicted enough to benzos you can die in withdrawal. It's like getting off booze cold turkey. Basically, benzos suck, and do yourself a favor and never take them everyday (unless a doctor prescribes you it, but I'd honestly be wary of any doctor prescribing these pills long term.) Opiates are fucked too, but often times when you here about pharmaceutical overdoses benzos are prominent in the blood (along with the oxy, or another CNS depressant). Good to know they're there for hangovers I guess, but be careful with these fuckin' things.

Everything in moderation , alcohol is the only one apart from benzos which can kill in withdrawal.

Funny that. A long, long time ago, when me and my wife separated for the 1st time, she said it was because I was drinking to much ( fuk knows why?!). So I went to our family Doc and he recommended home detox from the alcohol ( he was to scared to address the other substances I was abusing simultaneously I reckon). So he proceeded to give me a 'script for 100 Valium. Well.... a couple of days later my missus rung me and said she had seen me and a mate floating along about a foot off the ground in Kawana Shoppingtown, with blue noses and she was filing for divorce. Ah well, managed to give her and the bennies up!
