Almost everyone here know that Cambodia still focuses on arranged marriage. Our older people still feel that it is their obligation to organise this for their children. They still believe that because they are older than us they know more than us. They have been walking in this path, so they believe that they know the good path that they want their kids to walk through.

A few days ago i wrote a thread highlighting why most Cambodians especially women from good family with high education will not have sex before marriage. You actually didn't read it at all. Older Cambodian think having sex before marriage is taboo, so younger both male and female are encouraged to be abstinence, however things changes from day by day due to western influence via internet or and tourism. Note, most of us now also manage to get laid before 25 years old.

This is not really so surprising for westerners, it's not much different from how things were done in our grandparent's time.

Sophie’s Bar was a shock to the senses.

The door opened by several scantily clad girls. They grabbed your arm and dragged you inside. One undoes your fly. Oral sex without any inhibition. Beer cold. Cheap. Certainly not the Ritz, but no one going to Sophie’s was expecting 5-star treatment, although the girls couldn’t have been nicer.
