Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): An incident happened at 12:20 AM on October 20, 2020 along Street 1986 in front of the restaurant (Tai Tai 2) in Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok, when a woman traveling with another man drove a Ford Ranger into a Lexus, causing damage to both sides.

After the incident, a journalist came down to the scene to cover the live broadcast, but the woman chased after the journalist and told him not to report this affair, or if not, she will sue the media again.

Prior to the incident, a woman was seen traveling with another man driving a white Ford Ranger, with license plate Phnom Penh 2BH-6799, traveling along Street 1986 in a west-to-east direction. The accident apparently occurred when the driver oversteered and collided with a white Lexus RX-330, with license plate Phnom Penh 2AJ-0882, driven by a man traveling in the opposite direction from east to west, causing the Lexus to break the front wheels.

After the incident, the two sides mediated for almost an hour in the pouring rain, and then the local authorities came down to the two sides to mediate further, and in the end the party responsible for the accident agreed to pay $ 80 compensation to the other party.

The victim did not want to have a long story and agreed to the compensation so he could leave the scene.
