So what on earth was the long and short of this?
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.

"LARPing
Traditionally, LARPing is when a bunch of nerds get together in a field or pasture and beat each other up with foam core swords. In the internet sense, it refers to people who put on a façade and lie about having lives that are far more interesting than they really are."

CEO boots on the ground haven't found a trace of her on 172, where else did she go?

Damn! I didn't really think that 172 was all that bad with delusional meth heads running around. Used to hang out there a bit about a year or so ago when I was stuck in Campo due to Covid. Never saw any methheads though I didn't really frequent Sundance or any of those grotty backpacker places. Mostly would go to DOS to score some weed and hang out (nice mellow crowd), beer and pool at Big Easy, or drinks at the Black Pearl with a cute bargirl that I liked. Always found the street to be pretty mellow and thought of it more in terms of being a backpacker hippy/stoner hangout. Most of the time it was pretty quiet and uneventful there.

Well that was a while back when there was still some variety there. It's changed, Big Easy and Black Pearl are gone, as are most places. The whole central riverside area is derelict now and there are plenty of sketchy people hanging in the shadows.Uncle-V wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 9:24 pmDamn!
