Some, but not all can be put in that class. My trip to OZ [ mid March ] was planned way before the Covid virus and my return was also planned in advance [ end of March ]

I was referring to those who panicked about the virus and went home for that reason only. Not those already with booked flights who decided to take them anyway.

I left Cambodia for a couple of weeks in Feb, but it could have been March or April, and then I would have been in the shit like so many others.
So I feel massively for those who can't get back. The lockdowns were fast and furious and suddenly you just got stuck where you were at that time.

I get your pain for those who are trying to get back to Cambodia. It sucks. Patience though, Cambodia rules change regularly.

It's been relatively chilled here compared to other countries for the past few months. However, the long term effects of this on Cambodia's economy have yet to become apparent. I see things getting much worse, crime could hit the roof and then the competent authorities will have to step in. It's gonna be a bloodbath, you're not missing much.

From my don't know nothin' 'bout no architecture perspective and being here in '08 when Canadia Tower was going up and feeling very excited then and leaving in 2010 until 2016 for a bit and back now, that Vattanac structure is pretty impressive. The dude's name kills it for me (Farrell) and there is no link to the article but I m sure I d only read such a piece if i was on an airplane or in a waiting room.

i am impressed by this building and what is says, but yes there are other items to check off in the strategy here, The balls it takes to make such a statement and develop such a property is unrivaled from my recent travels in 'China where they may perfected these modern great leap forward buildings. Its hard to believe an Irish guy (Farrell) is taking credit here. It's a cool building that says "fu we re getting the money to flow our way" and that is not a bad thing and it inspires and, at the same time, it takes ownership for wealth to many people who could use a boost.

Terry Farrell is not Irish, he's English. I thought that tower looked ridiculous going up but I quite like it now.
