Would be a beach for people with savings back home or living on pension.

Has anyone tried to cut down on their drinking in the event this might happen?

some currency exchange sellers are already giving one for one

i do know that some brits have cut down as they are getting 40℅ less than say 2 years ago

whats the exchange rate got to with savings?

If your savings or pension or whatever is in £ Sterling, you're going to get a lot less for your pound now.

yes I am aware that if you are on a pension but savings are saved and you don't spend hence savings
all getting a massive 0.25℅ in the uk!

pensions are the only issue

AU $1 was worth more than US $1 two years ago. Now lucky if it hits 75c. Trump's media conference last week helped though.

Obviously it's only an issue if you live on your savings or need to top up your pension.

I seriously doubt they would ever allow £1=$1, because it would be like saying the Pound was useless and diminishing to British hope.

As bad as this Brexit is, i doubt it will become that bad.

It is kinda funny though. Brits all precious about the pound all this time, refusing to go with the Euro, and the moment they quit the EU the bottom drops out of it. Poetic really.
