Will the £ ever equal $?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Sometimes, mostly on short to medium term trades of 1 week to 3 months, but most of my investments are in agricultural land though, low taxes and good rental income on long contracts without the headaches and fees of real estate property rentals. The GBP isn't the only one that's dropped 30-40% in the last few years so I've felt the pain too but atleast my stuff is 100% untouchable.

GBP has only dropped about 15% since Brexit. I don't buy land by the sq.m although should have five years ago, would probably be looking at a better than 100% return with currency adj.
I'm not the only one getting real antsy to short the US market.

You had my interest till you mentioned Clive.
A true shill! His track record is abysmal!

http://www.silverdoctors.com/gold/gold- ... -gone-bad/

Just one of many, many asinine predictors who may or may not be correct once a day.
Like a broken clock.

Me, I'll continue to buy the dip, sell the rip, swing trade on some.Work the margin.

But if your deal is working for you then no one can argue with success.

But Clive is a con in the 1st. degree. :hattip:

Yes.

If you have a margin account you can enter & exit an equity multiple times in any given day or week.
There are other SEC rules. Many actually. I occasionally get a hand slap.

No to # 1 & definitely no to #2. Gambling is gambling. But I do enjoy the game. :beer1:
