Kep is for those that know how to enjoy themselves without someone else assisting them, Having a gf with you, family there, cant think of anywhere else < IF i HAD to live in Cambodia, i'd live
30 minutes to Kampot, 2 hours to PP for weekly shopping trips, you have the mtns and the sea an great seafood..Already have atm's LOL
I do agree, anyone with $$ ( serious money) would visit Phuket or Jomtien and check out all the condo developments in place and under construction and consider the same in Kep. Get in early before its to expensive...

all there is to do is drink beer and goto those girly bars day in day out.
kep dont even have girly bars just mountains and a corner store and a jetty.
rabbit island is ok but locals are all inbreds and its polluted.

Pleanty of Chinese over the river working. Also looks like a new addition, of a supermarket on the far side of the casino. Here they are renting all the new builds near the factory's.Barang chgout wrote: ↑Mon Mar 05, 2018 9:40 am What about Koh Kong?

Always "hope" but never "expect".

yeh that would be nice but aussies are a hard sell, they have a tendency to stick to what they know and the free trade is often dominated by other already rich asians.frank lee bent wrote: ↑Mon Mar 05, 2018 11:26 amturn the sign from stop to go when it is time and draw AUD 28/hr plus over timeWhat is there to do at home kid?

I am more worried about Kep being invaded by all the meth-heads and perverts from Sihanoukville who are escaping from the Chinese! Well at least that would make things a bit more lively here.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
