Where can I buy Loctite?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

If anyone has difficulty communicating with people in shops about something like this, write down the name. Some of them will get out their phones and look it up online.

Has anyone used epoxy to hold in bolts, then later removed the bolts?

If you did this an broke a bolt off, it could work out much more expensive.

I know it's answering a question you didn't ask, but have you considered a split-pin? Also, I've seen locking nuts in Russian Market...

It is actually a bolt. The only part sticking out is the head.

What I may do is use epoxy only on the head, not on the thread, if I dont have a better idea in the meantime.

Another idea is to experiment with another nut and bolt, to see if after it has set it can be undone.

That will complicate things.

I've never seen loctite here. I have a bit of the red at home (I think I've run out of the blue) and it's like gold. A few friends also have some. You might want to visit Sang bike shop near TTP, he might have a bit lying around. I don't think he'd sell a bottle, but could probably sort you out depending what you need it for. Otherwise you're better off importing if it's not urgent or using some substitute. What do you need it for?

Safety wire it temporary or permanently like a bike at the racetrack.
Still here, in country...

That's where the contact cement works well just put a small amount around the intersection between the 2

That seems like a good idea. Maybe it's the way I will go. Again, I may get other ideas yet.

Yeah I'd be careful using epoxy or quick steel. A bit of crazy glue, contact cement or liquid gasket might be better.
