When will we get snow in Cambodia?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I lived in China for six years. Tsingtao is probably the best beer made in China, followed by Habin, then Snow... which is very light and 'fruity'... but better than hundreds of other brands (averaging about 2.4% alcohol by volume) that taste like watered down pear juice someone waived a couple of hop flowers over for two seconds sometime during the fermentation process. Kingstar is the exception and has lots of flavour... if you like sulphur dioxide.
You could be next.

The price of the stamp is 1.2 Riel. Meaning you could get about 1300 of them for a dollar at that exchange rate. Pretty cheap if correct.

Although, I notice that they use 1.20 and not 1,20 (as is the norm to use ‘.’ as the thousands separator instead of the ‘,’ which we use)

I wonder if the price was actually 1200 Riel and not 1.2 riel. That price would maybe make more sense.

OK, so i've actually looked into it properly,
in the 1980s... 4 Riels = 1 USD, so 1.20 Riels is actual "1 Riel 2 Kak" (1 Kak was 0.10 of a Riel)
so 1.20 Riels at the time was $0.30
