I was in a van to the middle of nowhere with a bunch of people. There were so many different nationals including one American and a Russian ( a very young beautiful Russian girl). The journey would be so boring without people discussing on various topics. So, there were so many discussions on randomly topics going on the van which made the journey quite nice and entertaining. However, when the girl started to join the discussion, it actually became so boring and not to mention the vibe was completely devastated as people were on high voice arguing with each other. She seemed to target attacking on the American guy. I felt so sorry for him as he seemed to be really rational and less patriotic behaviors and attitude.

One quote from the girl. ( Russian will celebrate if The United State goes broke. The Russian economy is not depending on America). she as well as many Russians don't believe about the global warming or climate change. American spread out the fake news for the political and economical interest).

This is unfortunately a common problem. The American Government has earned a lot of ill will all over the world and some, immature or less educated people automatically assume all Americans support their government.

Ironically, I have never had an Asian person attack me for being American but have had a couple of smarmy European backpacker types try it on. It sounds like the guy on the van was very polite. I probably would not have been as I have little patience for people who want to pre-judge me.

Russians get fed a lot of anti-American propaganda. It is difficult to take seriously considering the source.

Every country gets fed lots of propaganda about every other country. Following George W Bush, some have more material to work with, I guess but it doesn't make it right.
