When in the van with a Russian girl and an America.

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I don't mind criticism of the US, but what annoys me about so many Russians who criticize is that they fail to see how awful their own government is. They also usually have weird conspiracy theories about our economy and their supposedly about-to-take-off economy that seems to be doing anything but. At least when Western Europeans criticize us it's coming from people who actually come frome freer and more democratic countries.

Could say the same about Americans or patriots of any other nationality.

It's all dumb. A good government is an oxymoron. Erase all borders. Burn all flags.

i read all the comments here, but i declined to give my opinions on this. Actually, both countries historically had relationship with Cambodia. Russian built a lot of infrastructures in Cambodia for example the university i am currently studying, soviet hospital and some roads, on the other hand, USA also built a lot of infrastructures in Cambodia, like National Road Number 4, etc. i am neither pro-Russian nor America, so i don't think it is a good idea to give judgement between the two countries. I believe that there are good American and bad American and similarly there are good Russian and bad Russian.

i wonder if there are any campaigns in USA to tell American to hate Russian?
