What is your opinion on getting facial tattoos?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

with all tattoos, the person getting one must think" this is what I do now. what about later"... years down the road, the thinking maybe different and regret it.

Do they still have prisons in Scandinavia? If so he'll fit right in.
I think though, I'm actually talking about another guy. Seems like the guy I mean had a LOT more ink on his face. Could be my memory or maybe he got more ink since that photo. Certainly the correct body type.
The decorations on his big Jap bike had Daisy Dukes (often), a bit of ink and green (?) hair, last I saw them.
Will ask her indoors, see if I can learn more.

Which one, getting a facial tattoo or copying someone elses question and posting as if it were your own thoughts?

or in this case both
:plus1: Makes you wonder how many other JC threads are cut and pasted from someone else's blog.

They are an indication of a person's inability to make good life decisions, unfortunately idiot Soundcloud rappers and crystal meth have a major influence on some people. I was around the crusty/ squatter/ Punk rock/ new-age-traveller/ raver scene a lot in my wayward youth so I did know a few people with facial tattoos.
One guy I knew was called "Age". He was the type of guy who would pick up a rusty safety-pin from the gutter and stick it through his eyebrow or forehead or whatever. I always thought he was a bit scary. He had a tattoo of "Motorhead" on his forehead, he did it himself in the mirror when he was fucked up taking loads of speed. Guess what? It was backwards. He died of a heroin overdose in about 1991.
There was another guy I knew with "skinheads" tattooed on his forehead. That was cool as fuck on the King's Road in 1979, but looked fucking ridiculous by the early 90s. It was a rough pin and poke job, so he got a cover up job done. Multicolored thick script saying "Skinheads" was what he chose. He grew a fringe but still looked terrible. You could feel his embarrassment when he tried to blend in.
There was another guy I knew who had previously been a bouncer for "Skrewdriver" but had reformed and become a new age traveler. He had loads of tattoos on his face. He came to my door one day looking for the girl who lived upstairs and I was shocked meeting him, he looked like a psycho. His two miniature French Bulldogs came running inside and I nearly died laughing at them, especially when I noticed one had an eye missing. Anyway, he actually turned out to be an ok guy, he's still around.

Tattoos can look ok when they are well thought-out, but I notice a lot of people in the past few years with very random shit all over themselves. It's their body I guess but I can't help thinking many will regret it.

Last activity in 2013 and he hasn't been reportedly scamming since 2015. He's probably in jail or dead. Some friend of his asked about him 2 years ago. I doubt that he turned up. https://www.facebook.com/geno.munkholm

His full legal name is Geno Oliver Skjold Munkholm from Gørløse, Denmark (in case anyone is really trying to get a hold of him).

any tattoos are ugly and worse than not getting any except say facial(and/or possibly other areas) cosmetic tattoos to lessen the appearance of scars or blotchy pigmentation, to cover port wine stain(of course could be other than the face also) or even permanent eyeliner. Other than that tattoos are unsightly anywhere and everywhere.
