What's your career or job?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I am a plus-sized woman's shoe salesman.

But I'm only doing that until I get my big break as a dancer.

But what do you do here? Cheers.
So this is what you did in the US ....or is it you took the job because that is all that is available to you? Did you study a science?
It isn't. I have a B.B.A in Marketing. I did B2B sales for 5 years. I don't like that. I enjoy teaching more. If it were not easy content (grades 1 & 2) I'd not want nor would I do this.

Is it all I can do? No. I have been paid to write many times, started to make good money, decided to take stable hours @ a private school here in Phnom Penh, instead of freelance writing.

And yourself, General Chatter?

Financial Controller/Finance Manager, ( Qualified management accountant ), 15 years overseas in Asia/Africa Oil and Gas, Construction and Sugar industries. 2 years being a lazy bastard so will try and get some contract work back in the UK next month before my brain seizes up and to tide me over. Not sure I'll be able to readjust to the buzz words, bullshit and corporate backstabbing - I hate that shit. If not its a thai retirement visa next March.

I build things that you use every day but rarely heard of. I also fix problems you don't know you have. Sometimes I create new ones.
