Maybe something to do with removing the big trees , so the little trees have room to grow . Cambodians would call it conservation.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

There are no national parks on the island, so any of the trees can be chopped down. The Royal Group own the lease for the whole island, so it's probably them.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 6:26 am This video was posted on the Koh Rong Community - Locals & Expats social media page on 18 February 2020. Probably building an "eco resort".
Silence, exile, and cunning.
Re: What's With the Latest Forest Destruction on Koh Rong ?
we rode around some of Koh Rong in December on scooters
heading around the Sok San area we kept passing new[ish] basic brick rendered houses that were all abandoned, just one house nothing else around it, some still had AC units inside, then a couple of clicks down the road another
saw loads of them, whats that all about?
nothing much around that side of the island, hardly any beach

When the trees are gone they will level it, build a runway with infrastructure and start direct flights to/from Wuhan.
You could be next.
