What I wish for on this forum

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Go to their store and search proxy. Don't know if Hola or Mint work with Firefox.

Or search "proxy/vpn for firefox" in google. Is there incognito in firefox? Google translate is a proxy too.

Nothing is as good as paid vpn.

I agree with UKJ about the death threads. Distasteful is putting it mildly in some cases. The wild speculations, the commenting on peoples appearance in photo's (particularly on older blokes who had died), was out and out malicious at times and did more to turn me off and make me lose all respect for the posters, then anything else. I think we should treat our comments as if the person who died was OUR father/brother/son/mate etc and show the respect we would like to be shown to them if that actually was the case. Because the simple fact is they ARE someones father, brother, son or mate.

I think this is the answer to the question. All in all I think this is a different group of posters with a much lower tolerance for insensitivity. We're pretty good as a group at making it collectively known to a poster (want a job in telesales?) when they're too far over the line, and I imagine the mods would remove a post and park a user if enough of us requested it.

I did think the actual statistical reporting of deaths was enlightening because it revealed just how wide of the mark the actual official figures are compared to the reality of the situation and highlighted the potential dangers visitors may not be fully aware of. Totally agree on the need to avoid tasteless insensitive remarks.

Damn. The Dragon will definitely have to take this one.

I'm clueless. I've never even been to Meta House.

Better, the bots don't even have access to it. PhpBB is able to detect the user agents of spider bots from the search engines and allows you to set specific permissions for them.

This eliminates the need for robots.txt or nofollw, and even allows me to let them in to a message that says they don't have permission, so the rest of the content (not the posts) still gets indexed as one more page (as well as the forum title) to bait more people in. ;-)

Stealthy works on both Chrome and Firefox I believe.
