What the U.K. Foreign Office has to tell us about Cambodia

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

It is amusing to read the F.O. advice of different countries - in nightmarish ones, the F.O. spells it all
out in grim detail - the gunfights, kidnappings, rapes, armed robberies and roadblocks - but for sane countries
like Iceland the advice is not to fall into a lava flow and the joyous and uplifting news about the capital city:
"Some downtown areas can be noisy and rowdy at weekends."

Ok, I'll give you a clue:

Yeah, I also have problems keeping up with 'changers' as well. I don't know why you would change your user name so often, while posting in the same way, same subjects, same prejudices etc. I just don't see the point in reincarnating as the same persona with a different handle. Maybe MB2 can enlighten us.

For all those boring farts who keep their same online identities, who would you be if you wanted to change ? :tophat: :rave: :fuckyou: :tard: :santa: :protest: :sign17: :Rose: :assasin: or just :stir:

I quite like  for the moment anyway, but why do we have two banana emoji and no pineapples ?

OT: Yes not bad advice for visitors.

Jamie has second sight!

The Mammoth trampled his keeper and, miraculously, a boozy old man was resurrected.

For some techie-nerd reason, it took 3 or 4 tries to get back on ...
