What's the beef with street 172

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

172 ain't that bad, though I did once make a promise to myself a couple of years ago that I would never live on that street again. That worked out well....
Ha!! As it turns out I'm staying right across the street from Night Moves maybe I'll go and have a look see.
Be sure to read the link below first. Just in case.

Thanks for the heads up considering I've already been spiked and robbed. Geeezus can't a man even play a little bit without having to worry about being drugged? I miss the old Cambodia and my blissful ignorance.

As much as I'd like to be a quick walk to Quealy's  , I would never live on 172 either.

On my last trip through, I threw caution to the wind and ate at places other than go-to restaurant Blue Dolphin. Didn't work out so well. Sundance one day had no bacon for brekky and next day no coffee. I still like Sundance but don't drink there much since it's full of $2 drink chasers and folks who believe "if it ain't loud, it ain't music." Since I don't go to hostess bars, that leaves Jess's place (Roger presiding) and Dolphin.

FYI: Gladiator is now Night Moves. Well, who cares. Oh there are now at least three new minimarts, one near 19 and two in the middle of 172, kind of bookending good old Pont Leu.

From your balcony or whatever vantage point you have will be fine.

A litter bin in Phnom Penh! That's going to stand out like a hooker at a nuns birthday party.
