What should happen when she falsely claims rape?

Post by StroppyChops »

What should happen when a woman (and to date, it's generally been women in the media) knowingly and falsely cries "Rape!" as a weapon?

Sydney man plans to sue police after two years battling rape allegations

EXCLUSIVE

A SYDNEY man who battled for two years to clear his name of rape and assault allegations has vowed to sue police for acting like “robots” and ignoring crucial evidence.
The man, who is in his 40s, had been accused by his estranged wife of sexual intercourse without consent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm but was acquitted of the charges by a District Court jury.
The trial judge slammed the way the case was handled and said such serious charges should never have been brought against the man, who spent $200,000 in legal fees defending the charges.
He also spent more than a month behind bars until he was granted bail.
Police refused to drop the charges despite being handed photographic evidence — including email and text exchanges — that cast serious doubt on his wife’s version of events.
Judge Mark Williams labelled the prosecution case into the rape and assault charges as “most unsatisfactory” and lashed them for ignoring “cogent and consistent objective evidence” that supported the man’s evidence the sex was consensual.
The judge went further to say the serious charges should not have been brought against him, Fairfax reported.
The man is now planning to sue them for malicious prosecution and has condemned the officers involved in his case.

CLAIMS OF BIAS
A court order prevents either party from being identified. The man told news.com.au it was hard to articulate the “emotional stress” the ordeal had on him.
He said: “The failures as I see it are that there was no investigation ... Even the judge said, ‘at what time did you sit down and question her on the evidence?’”
The man accused officers of taking the accuser at face value. “They saw a pretty young woman who walks into a police station, she’s single, she’s a doctor, she’s from the north shore and despite having written a statement completely different [from the one] she made at another station.”
At the time, he was confident that common sense would prevail and the charges would be dropped. His view was the messages between the couple showed his estranged wife in a poor light — leaving investigators, he hoped, to question the claims she was making.

Read the rest of the story here.
My view is that the woman should serve the sentence, plus a mandated percentage, that the man would have received, and also be listed on the sex offenders register. Thoughts?

True Story,,, About the year 1985 I was living on a farm by myself when I received a letter which had been redirected from my previous address . It was from a girl , a flatmate that had lived with me there , but she was writing from England, saying she was returning and wanted to know if she could stay with me. I sent a reply saying ok and gave her my new address.

About 3 months later after she had arrived she told me her father was being released from prison and she wanted to see him, so I told her to invite him to stay on the farm
for a few days.
As I walked around the farm with him , he struck me as a really decent guy, and he warned me that his daughter was a bit crazy and could not be trusted. This was something I already knew. He explained how she had accused him of rape etc and he ended up spending 5 years in prison. He swore his innocence one thousand times but no-one would believe him.
It all started after she had a mental breakdown and was undergoing treatment by a '' women's group'' who said her problem was something to do with a mental blockage that she did not want to talk about.

To cut the story short,,, The day he left , as he drove down the road and into the distance , she had another break down . Yelling after him how she was sorry , please forgive me, , they told me to do it, blaa blaa blaa .

I was lucky,,, She met a school teacher and moved in with him and got married.

Lots of other reports on Repressed Memory , Do your own search.

End of story.

I have just remembered something.

I too was molested by Rolf Harris , But I wont be making a official complaint until I know how much will be paid out to his victims.

Far worse I think, are the amount of women who falsely accuse their ex partners of child sex crimes so as to not have someone they are angry with see their own kids. The rates in British courts in visitation rights cases are apparently phenomenal.
What should the penalty be for that?

So you want to murder the kids mummy now? It's a bit of a conundrum.

" ... she herself pulled off her knickers, giggling with excitement and expectation ... "

Eleven days later the police banged on his door with an arrest warrant; the tragic victim had accused him of violent rape.
