what I learned from Southeast Asia....

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

If you are a depressed alcoholic who spends all your time in bars, you are likely to meet other depressed alcoholics who spend all their time in bars. :beer3:

I’m afraid I’ve got to disagree with you Grasshopper, after all you’re the one the couldn’t hack it and has run away while we’re all still here enjoying life in a region we feel comfortable in.

mostly I learned that the people in SEA all have one thing in common and that is they all tend to think
"my storys is different/ my situation is different"

there are all the same in the end,
they are all running from there problems in the west.
if not then why are they there?
are they there to drink them selfs to death?

perhaps they are running from there shitty 9-5's and there boring routines....

what I do learn is where they end up is the worst possible place for them, a third world poverty strickened corrupt country with a sky high suicide rate and a huge Alcohol problem......
Yes sir, I can boogie, I can boogie, boogie, boogie all night long.
