what holiday right now?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. I get the noise 6 days out of 7 in the last week starting at 5.30AM!...I thought I already got used to it but still very annoy me when they have to blast the Kangnam style and techno from 6-10pm and sometime till 12. In term of monk chanting, it's usually a funeral.

Its a combination of weddings, funerals and new house ceremonies. Weddings and house ceremonies usually straight up music.

I cant tell sometimes myself. Come to think about it, yea they do sometime play it from tapes. I think prices of hiring monks has gone up these days. Used to be 5 bucks a person, but probably goes up at least 10 bucks plus now depending on the monk position.
