Western Tourist Woman Has to be carried off Kbal Spean Mountain

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Siem Reap: On July 18, an unidentified woman tourist fell over and injured her leg while climbing Kbal Spean Mountain near Siem Reap.

She was unable to walk off the mountain, so the police wrapped the lady in a hammock to carry her off from the mountain, and then took her to the hospital immediately for treatment.

It's very slippy around rough ground like that in the rainy season. It looks like she was in running shoes which aren't great on that kind of surface. And the rest of her outfit leads me to believe she's not really used to hiking.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

There was another woman who was carried off there two months ago. From the photos on that thread you can see that it's a bit of a climb. If it's wet and slippery coming down then it's not surprising that they have a few accidents.

However, a big shoutout to the guys that carry the wounded down the mountain. That looks really tough. :thumb:

It is not that hard and I have walked this in flip-flops in the rainy season. But good ole pasty face here looks like the only exercise she ever does is downing donuts.

Looks can be deceiving, especially when up against prejudice and judgement

If I remember correctly, the last person carried off was an Indian septuagenarian. The hike is really not all that hard.

Can't have a photo of a woman on this forum or TOF without a cascade of comments of "She's fat and ugly" or "I want to fuck her"

The fact someone slipped, as someone said in what may have been inappropriate footwear for the conditions, has nothing to do with whether a person slips and injures themselves. It all so has zero to do with whether they eat doughnuts all day. Pointless discussing it with people of a certain opinion though, so I won't waste energy on providing more insight

Ah, but do you think it even if you don't post it?
