Western expats in Cambodia watch in horror as China moves in

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Many are here if you like paying $200 or more to enjoy their company.
I've seen many flashpacker type Chinese girls who I'm sure would be up for "and adventure" during their trip.

With construction work at Boeung Keng Kang 1 (BKK1) last night there were lines of concrete mixer trucks in wait to poor there loads at new developments. It also seems that in the same area there are more Chinese business, with hotels, supermarket's and restaurants.
Toul Tom Poung 1 (Russian Market) I noticed many buildings there to rent of late, with some older businesses closing down, but again it seems to have fallen favour for new Chinese business to open in some cases.
I drive by there every day and the Chinese presence there has been constant for well over a year or two I'd say. Slight fluctuations, but it's definitely got a lot there. I was out towards Ratanak Plaza area today and tons of Chinese there as well. There are numero "congregations" throughout town.
