Welcome to Cambodia Expats Online!
So... yeah... ANOTHER expat forum in Cambodia. Hopefully with less drama and bullshit... we're just trying to make a place where people can hang out and share information/chatter with minimal interaction by us. So... here are some basic guidelines to not make this suck:
1. Don't excessively flame one another. It's one thing to have a go at a friend (real or online) and a completely different to follow someone around launching personal attacks on one another. A little now and then is expected, and tolerated... but don't make it the only thing you're good for. That's just sad.
2. Don't try to buy/sell illegal drugs from people on here. We don't like jail anymore than you do.
3. Don't 'out' people. The reason people have screennames is anonymity... keep it that way. Accidents happen, but clean them up if they do.
4. Don't post private messages in the public space... if you have a problem with one, report it to us.
5. Don't cry if someone said something you don't like... it's the internet... there will be a lot of that from time to time. Man up, ignore it (or them, using the 'foe' function) and move on.
6. Don't post porn. A little nudity/etc is fine now and then, but put it in your own thread labeled in the title as [NWS] (Not Work Safe) or someone else's already [NWS] thread.
7. Don't make threats of physical violence. See above statement about jail. This extends to people who aren't members here as well... they hear about it, we (and you) get sued.
8. Try to post stuff where it belongs. We will move it if it's not, but that's a pain in the ass.

Shucks....and I was hoping for a smiley free zone!
I tend to sleep in the nude. Which isn't a bad thing except for maybe on those long flights.
