Cambodia Visa Updates For Expats & Tourists 2018 (Visa On Arrival, Extensions, Retirement Visas, 3/6/12 Months)

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

If you find a job before then, you need a letter from your employer and can apply for an EB.

Unless of course you have bucks in the bank, you could go for an ER.
But of course the ER visa is no good to him if he wants a teaching job.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Mottah travel said to me "EG only for NGOs".
They also said you must be over 55 (or whatever it is) no exceptions to get an ER EOS.

Also. The two chicks there started kissing and touching eachother. Are they just a close family?
:good:

It seems Letters of Employment will now be needed for 1 and 3 month EB visa EOS by the end of the week. Next up will be the EB visas themselves at port of entry.

If that's the case, shouldn't people get the tourist visa on arrival and extend that for an additional month without a letter of employment?

Sure, for longer stays the EB visa with 6m EG extension is also still available AFAIK. Don’t know if that’s a one shot deal per entry or per passport though.

 EB & EG are separate EOS categories of the E-type visa.

EG EOS is a one time only deal, if you have previous E-type EOSs already in your pp, they won’t issue you an EG.

They’re seperate, but the EG EOS is still off an EB visa is it not? So it’s a one shot deal per PP.

No...the EG is an EOS of the E-type visa, as is the EB, ES, ET, ER, EP.
