Visa changes?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Visa changes?

Post by scapishm »

I want to live for some years in Cambodia and I am a European passport holder.

I know you can get now a regular visa and extent it.

But i saw in a topic from here that there are new changes

It clearly says for employees and business men, and since i work online for my self i can't really get a work permit.

I am curious if it won't be easy anymore to stay there easy.

I think if you are a european passport holder they will be more easy, But i have reasons to worry I was living in peru (i am still there) from my 18 and now turning 21, the visa was more easy then cambodia. And then out of nowhere they changed it and i need to go (and i know many friends who did lived here for 10 years who needs to go too).

But i will go around 5 months to cambodia then there will be more news probably

Sorry Jamie.

At the border can you apply for a 3 month visa, or is it the 25 dollar 1 month one, and you have to apply for 3 month when in Cambodia (like 10 years ago)
